Hi, I'm Nina and I run Girl Viking Fitness.

Girl Viking Fitness is currently running beginner Pole fitness classes at Portland YMCA.
We are also pleased to announce that we have a newly refurbished studio above the YMCA for Aerial Hoop and in future, plan to also run Barre Pilates and Yoga classes, as well as extra Pole classes.
​
My classes are all about fun, building confidence, making new friends, empowerment and pushing people to be their best and reach their full potential. I want everyone to have a good time, but I also want them to see real results, so we always work hard to find your inner warrior. No class is ever the same!

Girl Viking Fitness is new to Portland, but I previously ran a studio in Kent, so I am bringing with me years of experience.

About
My name is Nina
My background is in competitive pole dancing, from that I learnt the importance of discipline, technique and strength, but I also learnt the importance of dance and the beauty that can be found in every movement. I trained in India to become a yoga teacher, I learned so much from my time there, especially about the mental side of the various disciplines, which I incorporate into all my Yoga classes and workshops. My Barre Pilates class brings together poise, posture, and strength, incorporating once again a dance element into the class, this ensures that every move has control, balance and beauty.
Pole Fitness
I come from a competitive pole dancing background; I have competed nationally winning two medals in a professional category. I competed in the Croatian Universal Championships in 2021.

I understand the importance of not only technique, but strength and body conditioning too. I also love the beauty of the dance moves between set combinations. There is beauty in the fluidity of the movement between holds. This dance aspect is important to me and is reflected in my fun, but tough lessons, where you will learn not only holds, but dance too.
The results from Pole fitness are truly amazing, giving my students strength, toning and body confidence. My Pole fitness classes have up to eight people in them with four poles. At the YMCA there are currently 2 beginners Pole fitness classes running. I have plans to run further beginners, intermediate and advanced classes in the future.
Aerial Hoop
Our aerial hoop classes take place in our newly refurbished studio above the YMCA. There is a maximum of ten students per class and there are three aerial hoops. This is an amazing class building strength and confidence whilst creating beautiful moves and holds in the air.

Hoops classes are available for both adults and children:

The adults class is held at 7pm on Thursdays, £13.50 per class. Please book your space online below in the booking section.

For the children's classes are £10 per class, please contact me for more information about the next available class. Once you have reserved a space with me at the class, you can make payment online below.
Pole Booking
Pole classes are available for booking as a 4 week bundle, starting at anytime.
Please select the plan you wish to purchase and then book your space on the class.
Plans will be charged every 4 weeks, and available to cancel anytime.
No refund will be given for plans that are only part used.
If you would like to give my Pole class a try before committing to 4 weeks, you can book a taster class for your first class.

Aerial Hoop Booking
Adult Aerial Hoop classes are pay as you go, but booking is essential.
No need to select a plan, just go straight to book your space on the class.

No refund will be given for booked classes that are not attended.
